After hearing about the devastating floods in Houston, TX I came across a wonderful program called Adopt A Classroom. I have been specifically matched with Mrs. Robinson, a first grade teacher at a Title I school. As most teachers, she spent all summer getting ready for her new little first graders, only to have all her hard work, effort, time, and money be completely washed away. I am collecting donations for her as she starts to work on rebuilding her classroom. Right now, Mrs. Robinson is not even able to get into her school, but she is hoping we are able to provide some basic supplies for she and her students. Even when the school is cleaned out and ready for students, the priority is obviously to homes and most of the money donated from big organizations will be directed towards other things so I really hope you can help me help another first grade classroom.
If you are able to donate any of the supplies below please bring them to my classroom or the office at RHD. Thank you in advance for your generosity!
