I am a 20 something women who loves to teach! I began my love of teaching when I was a young dancer, given the opportunity to be an assistant in my favorite teacher's ballet class. From there, I was given my very own dance class to teach, and my passion for teaching hasn't stopped!
I went to Sonoma State University to earn my B.A. in Liberal Arts and my California State teaching credential. I was in Gamma Phi Beta sorority, student taught in Kindergarten and 3rd grade classrooms, I was a nanny for an amazing family, and enjoyed the finest Napa wines as often as possible.
After college I moved to Belo Horizonte, Brazil where I taught 2nd grade at an International American IB school. I traveled throughout South America, spent a summer in Europe, and tried to immerse myself in the Brazilian culture as much as I could.
After my 2 years abroad, I came back to my roots in Carmel, California. I began teaching at my old studio again where I currently teach ballet, tap, jazz, and creative arts. I also just finished courses at Brandman University where I earned my Masters in Education, of Teaching and Learning. This is my third year teaching Kindergarten at Lagunita, and I am very fond of the small community feeling this school has to offer.
I love to be creative, bake up a storm, travel as much as possible, ski when I can, dance in my room, sing in my car, and teach my little kinders who light up my life.
