Welllllll we did our best effort to watch the eclipse with our fancy solar glasses, but the PG fog got in our way! We still enjoyed being outside, imagining it all happening above us, and simply looking at the sun through the glasses is pretty cool on its own! We did get to watch some videos from NASA about the total eclipse and our friend Max brought in a family video from their road trip to Oregon for the viewing!
PHEW! The first week is over and oh my goodness I slept well last night! Your students are wonderful, inquisitive, and very active! We did lots of fun things already and I feel like this year is going to be a special one!
