Every morning students write in their journals. It's a long slow process but they're working hard and improving everyday! We were lucky to have Diegos dad come help us with our Float/Sink center. For centers today we also did IPads and shopping lists in the kitchen! What a fantastic day! The kiddos took great photos this morning, and then our music teacher came in for the first time this year! Take a look at some of our cute students! What a fantastic day! We are now in full swing with Centers every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 11-12. Centers are 20 minute rotations with 4 students in each group. You will sit at a table and teach the same activity 3 different times for an hour. If you would like to volunteer, please let me know, or sign yourself up on the calendar on the inside of my classroom door. Thanks in advance!
Don't forget that tomorrow is picture day! Please send your child with their blue photo envelope.Homework went home today.
There are some math pages along with our weekly activity book. Please be sure to tear out the book and keep it at home for reading practice. Students should know: Letters - Mm and Aa Words - / I/ the/ see/ am/ we/ can Today we learned the word "we" and this week we will work on the letter Aa We also started out lessons on diversity and families all over the world. This is one of my favorite books, and the students really did a great job drawing and writing about kids from different cultures! |
